They are bright enough for me to see what is in my tent at night, while giving a softer light that won't blind me at night. I did not care for the \"white\" lights. What I hate is that there is no dimmer switch, instead, Big Agnes replaced the dimmer switch option with the irritating blinking light option. Docked two stars for that misstep.
