The current 35L has been updated with some old and new drawbacks: 1) The laptop opening is now on the other side to accommodate a new water bottle pocket. This adjustment also removed the highly useful side access to the main compartment. 2) The laptop sleeve still has its tablet slot which is still too small for tablets larger than 10\" or 11\". 3) The added additional top pocket is useful but much too small. 4) Lastly, the pack's material is still not firm enough and lacks any structure which prevents the pack from standing upright on its own. Overall, the 35L pack is still a very good pack, but with these above major drawbacks. I decided on a Del Dia version because I'm working on bring more open. The colors in my bag were nothing I would have chosen on my own, but they are beautiful and I get so many compliments. The bag itself was phenomenal! Comfortable to carry even when stuffed. My water bottle NEVER fell out.
