The sonar unit itself is very high end, it's only so cheap because of the size of the screen (which is not ideal but I can put up with it very easily for the price). Plus your screen doesn't have to be huge for ice fishing anyways. The whole thing is very compact, the battery is rechargeable, and there's a ton of settings to tinker around with to fit your fishing style. I love being able to save waypoints and to be able to navigate to them in real time as well. I didn't have a fish finder before, so obviously this has been a gamechanger, but I really am learning a lot about fish behavior under the ice.
