I've only really had to have it sharpened two or three times, and it hasn't even really loosened too much. Right now it's at the perfect amount of tension to be drawn quickly and easily. LOVE the finger flip. I much prefer having a finger flip to a thumb stud. And the tanto tip has been very useful. This thing is also able to take a beating. I must've dropped this knife onto hardwood floors or concrete a thousand times in the past 5 years, and there's hardly a dent on the frame- just some paint that chipped off. Only downside is that now that I live in Los Angeles, I can't have a blade this long. Guess I'll have to go down to the EVO Jr. haha. I think I've oiled it twice in five years and it's still holds strong. It has never gotten loose on me and I've never had to tighten it.
