This makes a pretty good setup. The only issue I encountered was that supposedly the Kwik Tek is manufactured in two different lengths. The Scheels site doesn't state the two lengths Airhead makes (8' and 12') and does not allow you to select which length. Too long and it gets caught under the anti-ventilation above the prop. on a 50 HP Evinrude Etec. I never stuck a tape measure on it, but, apparently this is for the 12' version?, which was too long. It works but gets stuck if you let the rope or harness get slack on a boat my size. Tube rope says it floats, it says Kwik Tek floats, but, they still managed to get underwater.
