My son had so much fun building it! It’s a beautiful model, as well as great for play. The raven’s face looks great and the wings, tails, and other bird accents use fun building techniques. The mini figure characters really lend themselves to creative play. He’s a big fan of Lego Dreamzzz. This set is 9+ recommended age, so we worked on it together. With 1203 pieces and pose-able parts, it’s a very intricate set but it was awesome to see it come together. I do wish Lego would start using less plastic bags for the pieces, or better yet, an environmentally friendly alternative, but we enjoy building sets so much that it hasn’t gotten us to completely stop purchasing. I recommend this set for people who want to put a little extra time building.
