Not only beautiful, but has good play features: two little rooms inside, a combat feature, a hidden space that pops open. I have never put together a Lego set quite like this wicked stone dragon. It feels thick and hefty (won’t come apart easily while playing and moving around!), yet elegant. That said, I did not pay full market price for my set, and the full price tag seems steep for such a compact set. I'm a big fan of sets that have a complete displayable presence to them. Ninjago was able to pull that off with the modulars, but those are too big and too pricey. However! This set, strikes that perfect balance of being affordable yet so visually striking that you can just take a moment to admire the detail and design cues that went into the set. I really love this one, and it's positioned on my desk so that I can see it every day.
