After several weeks of debating where to put the lego I finally went to a lego store and bought it. To begin with the box art was great! The manual was also massive, nearly 500 pages and more than 1200 steps, more than I had ever seen! The lego was massive and wasn't very challenging to build, though it still was very fun and the details were superb! This lego looked amazing with all the different colors, and the lego really comes together when it is finished! However there are several sections, particularly the left rear, that are so flimsily attached to the main structure that they fall off at the slightest touch. Several times during the build sections would simply fall off from jostling of the model. It is nearly impossible to move this without significant pieces falling off, and impossible to play with any meaningful fashion. After having put together some other very large Lego sets, I am very disappointed that I will never be able to pick this one up to enjoy. Based on that, I spent over $1000 on a nib resale. Also, it was very frustrating to build. When I tried to put modules in the frame, other parts would come off which,when i tried to reinstall, them caused other parts to come off. It was so frustrating that I gave up. This was not my first kit but if it had been, I likely would not have gotten any more.\nThe first set of bags was missing a piece, this was workable as I could pull from another bag and request the replacement. But then in the 4th set, a whole bag was missing! And still a couple more in the 5th bags. Then again in the 9th bag, which is where I still am while I wait for yet another replacement part.\nThe time it took to get the missing 4th bag was crazy, over 3 months! First of all it is $850 which I wouldn’t mind paying if it was more exciting. \n\nOnly 7 minifigs in the set and it is missing R2-D2 & Luke! I mean come on! Who wants a Millennium Falcon that doesn’t have everyone’s favorite droid (R2-D2). You need the full cast of characters especially if you pay $850. \n\nOnce you have it built (Which is no small task😃) it is huge! The huge size is really cool & it’s a real eye catcher. A downside to the size is when you consider the fact that you can barely pick it up. Did any of the designers try to carry this thing? You can barely get your hands under it without knocking off pieces and it is extremely heavy. \nOnly looks good if you never plan to move it. \n\nInterior wise I was very hopeful that it would have lots of space and cool features. That is not the case! There are like 2 tiny rooms & the cockpit!
