I called today, 5 days later and was told it may ship today or tomorrow. \nGood thing I had my 15 year old Food Saver sealer from Walmart or I would have lost all of my deer meat.\nPoor quality and bad customer service. Processed a whole deer with it and some bags got freezer frost within 2 days had to pull them out to eat them right away. Followed directions and watched YouTube videos. Not too happy with it honestly, other than having to let our food saver cool down periodically i trust that one more. Sorry Lem, I own a lot of your stuff this one missed the mark. I would not recommend for the cost. Maybe mine is a lemon but it doesn't suck the air out over the bag as well and any of the 4 other units I had before this. The only way for me to get it to suck most of the air out is if I push down hard on the lid. I will say that it seals the bag shut better then any other unit I have had. I also wish that it would seal the bags without having it vacuum too. You cant seal anything that has moisture for wont seal. It suggests you freeze anything with moisture before sealing. Well for me that is a lot more work. This means you cant marinade steaks or put cheese sauce on your veggies for it will get sucked out and also damage the machine if the liquid gets into the air chamber. My machine cost 567.00 without tax and I am sure I could find something that will do liquids. My old machine did and I sealed everything with it and only paid 120.00 for it. I have to say I am really disappointed in this machine. I could pay a bit more and get a commercial machine. It got to where I had to hold my hand on top and pressing down before it whould start suckling the air out. \nThe auto seal takes you through the whole vacuum step before it seals, rather than just sealing the bag. It seems small but is waist my time.\nI'm not as impressed as I wanted to be. I keep two seal a meals as back up because I have been let down by Vevor and others. Unfortunately I am quite disappointed. Unit struggles to seal the bags in one try. If there is any moisture in the bag, I have to attempt to seal 3-5 times before it actually fully seals. The unit also is required to pull vacuum to help squeeze down when making a bag (first seal without anything in it) and that seems like a waste of time. I now have to manually push down on the lid to get the sealer to seal and pull vacuum which is another frustration. This sealer does not deliver any better results than a $150 unit.
