The seasoning that it came with is excellent. I already used it with coals from a fire in our fire pit to make the “Lazy Peach Cobbler” in the recipe booklet. It was excellent. \n\nThe oven heats very evenly, and it’s not made in China so you know it’s straight American-made cast iron and not mystery metal. Like all my other Lodge products, it’s exactly as advertised. Buy it. Use it. Teach somebody how to use it.
