My husband finally wore it on a cold windy day. He said that the weight of the hoodie definitely kept him warm enough, and he really appreciated the extra pocket within the pouch in front to hold his glasses when he's not wearing it. (It is difficult to find a heavy weight sweatshirt nowadays.) He normally wears an extra large, but we had to exchange it for a large because the \"loose fit\" made it really big! The quarter zip is very helpful when he wants to keep it on the cooler side or zipped up for extra warmth. We haven't experienced how effective the hoodie is in a light rain, yet.
