Bought a couple new pairs, because my old pairs were getting wore out. Also lost a few pounds so I went from a 34x30 to a 32x30. Was met with disappointment with the new pairs. The 32's fit the SAME in the waist as the 34's!\nThe length in the new pairs is noticeably shorter than the old pairs. Also supposed to be a slimmer fit which the old ones were, not the case with the new ones.\nCarhartt you need better quality control in production, the inconsistency is disappointing because I used to love these pants. I've an athletic build so my thighs tend to be larger than the normal fit. Unlike the double fronted slim pants, these are roomy enough in the thigh and hip yet snug enough in the waist (36x32) that I didn't have to buy the size up to gain sufficient movement. Plus I can put both hands in the pockets without an uncomfortable pull around the hip.
