The sole is not the same as Bondi 9. The Bondi SR with a leather top has far less give which would be fine if they fit better and the sole may be just a tad smaller. I had to use a clobbers tool to stench some of the areas to fit my feet. Just bought a size 13 EX. I was very hesitant on spending the amount of money on these shoes. I was told Hoka are super comfortable , but that they just don't last very long. I will agree that these are probably the most comfortable shoe I have spent money on. As for how long they will last , time will tell. A nurse told me they get 6 months out of Hoka shoes and that's why they stopped buying them because of that. I will see. The tip and front upper started coming off 2 months ago, so it only lasted 4 months. I bought a shoe glue repair kit and when I started to glue them back together I realized the entire forefoot wasn't glued. The upper and sole had a void so I'm guessing that's why they failed so quickly? For shoes that cost almost $200 I expected more.
