I put my boots on at 5.30 AM and remove them at around 9PM. I'm either working construction or I'm doing farmwork and I do a lot of walking, about 18,000 steps a day. I also wear holes in the tread and toes due to the extensive amount of walking and layout and just kneeling down on rough concrete. They aren't perfect but I will tell you if you're looking for a good reliable boot this is the way to go. Everything about the boot is great construction wise, I'm working digging ditches and I'm on rock or concrete most of the day. I use them everyday, I'm on my feet 10 to 12 hours a day, getting 75,000 steps a week. The fit is good but after a year I've oiled them like 10 times and they've stretched out a bit. Great leather. Stitching was good until a few weeks ago it just gave out but no big deal. Soles have wear but still a little tread. Laces broke at 2 months but I don't care about that. They are extremely comfortable from the get go, and even more so once they are broken in. My only problem with them is that the soles wear out between 6 months to a year. It is from me not using them for hunting, but for work.
