Comfortable all day long down to at least 10'F with good Kenetrek Canada Over-The-Calf socks - even with a pair of spikes clamped on for icy/snowy climbing. I would wear them far more during the colder months just for getting around if I wasn't so worried about keeping the soles in decent shape for hunting.
