I was working on a farm in Upstate NY at -2. The 1/3 bottle of water in my pocket froze solid in three hours, but the mittens kept my hands warm. I was handling hoses and my right mitten became pretty wet inside. Over time the right mitten gradually dried out despite the extreme conditions and kept my hand warm. I have no hesitation in recommending these to you.
