I was there for six days and used these every day. Air temperatures were between 40-70 Fahrenheit and water temperature was around 50 Fahrenheit. I typically wore these over hiking pants and a long-sleeve shirt. I never felt too hot or cold in these. They don't have insulation and are the breathable type design, which is what they're intended to be. You need to layer insulation underneath when it's cold, which adds to their versatility in my opinion. I have a neoprene wader for hunting, and they get very hot when it's above 60 degrees. Durability seems great. I fell onto rocks several times in the excitement of trying to net fish and banged up my knees, however these waders didn't even have a mark. I also hiked through some thorny bushes and through some woods and swamps to get to fishing spots and didn't have any issues. I used these pretty hard and lived in them for the six days in Alaska, and these performed flawlessly. The large front pocket I used as my tackle box for hooks, sinkers, line and tools, which I used a great deal due to lots of equipment issues the first two days. I also enjoyed the fleece lined pocket behind the main check compartment to warm and dry my hands after getting my hands wet in the cold water. Overall, I loved using these waders. If they slowly fall apart from abuse like I used them for then they're still fantastic for the cost.
