Daily wear, hiking, camping, hunting, still plenty of wear, still give good support and are really comfy. There is one flaw. Those (expletive) speed laces. I am going to assume a burr formed on the guides in the eyelets on both side and it is wearing through the lace. I don't know how to go about fixing it. But if I had it to do over, I would still buy Solomon. Needs improvement.","text":"I love how easy it is to get these things laced and ready to rock. Best thing about this boot is the draw string lock lace up. They have also been a very comfortable shoe. I've had my pair for a couple years now. A couple things they need to improve to be even better: \n1) After moderate use, the top eyelet wore down creating sharp edges which begin to fray the laces. This causes you to have to buy new micro cord laces for these shoes and replace them frequently. And lacing them us a huge pain in the butt.\n2) The soles wore down quicker than I had hoped. The tread depth is not as deep as I had hoped. \n\nOverall, I have hesitated to buy again until the above issues are resolved. The new pair I got about 2 months ago needs a lace replaced literally every other week or so. The laces that came with it shredded within the first week. I feel the boot loosen up dramatically while I'm working, and I know it's time. Very disappointing drop in quality.
