I am not a hiker. So over the winter I bought these. Wore them around the house and to the store to break them in. First hike we did was an all day (13 hours) hike with an elevation of about 6000ft. Everything in my body was hurting. I thought every tendon in my knees were going to tear on the way down. It was awful. However, my feet felt great.
