These packs I literally could not imagine them being better. The Bino harness I was really excited to try out. As always the materials are quality the back strap suspension is top quality, the customisation of it is awesome. ONE HUGE ERROR, not having an adequate magnet closure system on the top is a huge mistake. You literally cannot close the lid of the bino harness and it is really annoying. Went with the 12x to have some extra space for my 10x42's and incase I decide to acquire a pair of 12x's. Magnetic closure system works well in my experience. Inner sleeve against chest is great for documents, or maybe a passport or some other thin valuable. front zip fits my flat card wallet. Molle webbing on the bottom is essential; personally, i've got my bear spray holster attached. Side pockets bear the same trend as many of the other pockets on this bino harness do; they're just a bit tight! surely, whatever you decide to put in their will have no chance of coming out. I just can't help but feel potential is limited. Overall its a really sleek design, which isn't necessarily for everyone.. I'm going to make it work though. One other detail, when attaching my rangefinder pouch to the horizontal chest strap, I had to affix it to the very short lead of strap between the bino harness and buckle. Using the top most molle strap on the rangefinder pouch, it fits perfectly. However, if for whatever reason you want to attach a rangefinder pouch, or any other bigger pouch to anywhere else on the strap on the other side of that buckle, that pouch is going to go swinging when you clip out. I love my mystery ranch backpack (Beartooth 80) and mystery ranch as a company, so I was excited to try the bino harness out. \r\nWhat I liked:\r\n\r\n- Spacious (fits Steiner 10x42 with eye shades easily)\r\n- Inside material is soft\r\n- Harness fits really well and is true to size\r\n- Molly webbing on bottom is good for attachment\r\n- Build quality\r\n\r\nWhat I would have liked to see:\r\n\r\n- stronger lid magnets, or the ability to secure the lid with some sort of mechanism. About 50% of the time when i leaned over to pick something up, the lid would open and my stuff would fall out. \r\n- Personally I would have liked to see built in side pockets that could fit a range finder on one side, and tech or small items on the other, or molly webbing so that this is an option. The current pockets will fit wind checker, a garmin mini, or a phone; however, personally, I wouldn't put something as important as a phone or inreach in a non-zippered pocket.\r\n-larger front pocket. You could fit your hunting tags and other small items in the front pocket, but a phone wouldn't fit. It would be nice to see the pocket expanded so you could fit a knife, your tags, and maybe a couple snacks or something in there. \r\n- internal pocket within the bino harness. For folks running smaller binos, its nice to be able to pop some extra stuff (extra calls, knife, paracord, tags, etc.) is a secure pocket within the main compartment. \r\n\r\nThis is just my $0.02 and is my personal partially open at times but never did the binoculars fall out. \nI took the covers off my binoculars because it stayed clean inside the case even though I walked through cattails and tall
