While not the lightest for backpacking, I found it to be very useful and the added weight negligible. The rubber handles meant I didn't have to bring a gripper handle. The collapsible nature of the kettle and the cups made it very compact, making up for the weight. I used to on a rainy climbing trip in Alaska and it made hot drinks a breeze. The metal bases on the cups help retain the heat in our drinks for quite a while, even in the cool temps. Easy to clean also. I've used on multiple car camping trips also. It works well with a jetboil pot adaptor. Very easy to pack and carry. The handle is perfect and the pot is large enough to accomodate a meal of 4 or more. The dual handles seem to operate smoothly and are user friendly. Both the kettle and the cups clean up very quickly with a soft rag. Of note, the box that the kit comes in states that these products are not dishwasher safe, however the Sea to summit website claims they are dishwasher safe. Secondly, the kettle has a wide rim allowing you to use it as a regular cooking pot which means you are getting more bang for your buck for multiple uses. I also heated up some water in the kettle on my LG stove inside my house in the kettle and had no problems.\nNow, for the cons.
