I was disappointed in the battery itself after giving it a real world test in what I would consider fair conditions. It was about 25°-30°F today, sunny with a slight breeze. I got my brand new auger and charged up the battery per the user manual. The lake I fished had exactly 16” of ice. What a more perfect spot to test the claim of strikemaster. I managed 44 holes drilled completely. Died on 45. I have the 8” auger. I was disappointed to not reach the 50 hole mark. That being said, the auger that this battery fits is awesome. Lightweight even with the battery.
