They worked perfectly and kept the mosquitoes away. This hunting season I bought a new one after the bottom that covers the butane, broke. The new model does not heat up enough and DOES NOT keep mosquitoes away. I got eat up. I've been in the woods walking to the tree stand and could see and hear the mosquitos all around me, but never get bit! This product is a part of our essentials kit! The only thing I wish is that there was a clip on the back without having to purchase the case. This does not deter away from giving it a 5-star review though. I used it for three hunts this year and on the third hunt, I found that it kept going out. I changed has several times and as suggested by the very nice customer service rep. I left the gas run for several minutes before lighting it. Nothing worked. I contacted customer service again and not only were they very apologetic, they sent a replacement at no charge to me with a very nice e mail thanking me for being a loyal customer.
