I bought this pair for pickleball and the toe split open after the second wear. Not after months, not after heavy use, but after two light sessions. I have other pickleball shoes from K Swiss and Fila that I have worn for years without anything like this happening.\n\nAfter mine ripped, I checked other reviews and saw several people had the exact same issue in the exact same spot, so this is not an isolated case. The material at the toe breaks down immediately and once it starts to fray it just disintegrates.\n\nTo make things worse, I submitted a warranty claim with ASICS and they denied it. They said it was normal wear and tear, even though it happened after two uses and there are multiple reviews showing the same defect. I expected much better durability and customer support from a brand like ASICS.\n\nOne star.
