{"reviews":[{"id":7332764,"locale":"en_US","rating":2,"title":"Good bra but terrible updated sizing","text":"I'm very sad to write this review. \n\nI've purchased 5 of the exact same model/style of this bra and have loved them all, except for the most recent one. I have always purchased a 36DD as the side coverage is good and the band size was always within a one-inch difference range. I can start at the outside clasp and then use the second or third clasp if the band stretches slightly. \n\nI just purchased the exact same bra as the first 4 I've purchased, and the band circumference is over 3 inches bigger than all 4 prior purchases, which is a huge difference. I did not expect to have to return an online purchase to the retailer I purchased the bra from, and it's difficult to try this size on in stores before buying as the size isn't always carried in stores. I did not purchase from the Brooks site. \n\nI wrote to Customer Service at Brooks and although they got back it wasn't very helpful. They referred me to the sizing chart, which is completely off as it would have had me in a completely different size than I've been wearing for the first 4 exact same bra's I've purchased and been wearing for a few years now. That chart suggested a 36B where the band circumference would probably be the same as the one I just ordered, and the cup size of a B would never cover my chest. \n\nI asked if they could send me the band circumference for the one size down (34DD) in case I could exchange the 36DD for a size down, if the 34DD is now the same band circumference as what the prior versions of the bra were at a size 36DD. They did not send it to me, rather, sent me another sizing chart to use, which I cannot trust as the one online sizing chart is so far off what I've been wearing in the same model/style of bra. \n\nVery sad as the bra itself is a good bra. I'm frustrated and now have to return a product that is over 3 inches larger in band size, when I ordered the exact same size as I always have. I ordered a 32D (I have several other sports bras in the same size), but this one was comically small. I was expanding out both the tops and sides. A bra with good support, is relatively comfortable, easy to get on and off and did not chafe me anywhere! I took it on a few short runs and a 16 mile run so far, and I already bought 2 more. I’m a 36C. I find that it has a little more bounce that I would like BUT I think it’s a fair trade off for being as comfortable as it is. I love how light weight it is. While it seems to have slightly less support, it’s still great for high impact and is so comfortable. I don’t feel like I have to rip it off as soon as I’m done working out. I always have a hard time finding sports bras that are comfy, cute, and supportive for a 32E, but this one has been by far my favorite. My main beef is that you do not make it with a band larger than a 40. I generally wear a 42D or 44D, and the 40D is wearable for a while, but it is tight.\nPlease make it with a larger band size.
