It kept my feet warm. Make sure you take the liners out to dry at the end of the day. Just received the new pair. Usually, I wear a size 8. 5 and ordered size 9. Just about right, still room to wear thicker socks. I bought a pair that I still have that are over 20 years old and I needed a new pair because I stored them in my garage accidentally when I moved and they have a weird smell now. Unfortunately this replacement pair is HORABLE you can barely walk in them. I feel like I'm going to break my legs in them and they are way too tight and not flexible at all and heavier. The toe box is not as wide inside due to the insert. Please go back to the old pair of boots that you used to make with the soft swade leather. I have included the picture of the old pair that I currently have against the new pair. The old pair is on the right side of the picture please please please make those again! This is impressive because my feet are usually always cold! We hunted muskox and ice fished. We stayed outside for 6-7 hours and we were riding on 4 wheelers. I was even able to hike in them. They are a little bulky but that's a given. They are extremely warm so the bulk is worth it. I sized up 1/2 a size to wear a big sock. The insert can come out and dry which is nice.
