The F.U.S.S. with Fitting Backpacks
“For growing kids, having the right-fitting backpack keeps them ready for their day and supports their well-being. When parents come to me, I love offering the no “F.U.S.S.” experience.”
F = FIT
First, we make sure the pack is smaller than their shoulder width and isn’t drooping below their lower back. Then we look out for “Happy Straps”. That’s where the straps of the pack are pulled snug enough to feel nice and comfortable, but weight is still balanced along the neck, shoulders, and back.
U = USE
Whether your kiddo participates in sports, music, mathematics, or theater, knowing the use of the bag helps us make sure we find one that’s going to help your kid take everything they need with them in one pack.
S = STORAGE
With all those activities, the pack needs to be up to the task! Specific storage can be super handy. Like for athletes, having a separate shoe compartment spares the rest of their things from that unfortunate smell.
S = STYLE
This one speaks for itself! Your backpack makes a statement about you and helps set the tone for your year. As a team, we love helping kids feel confident starting their new year!
