Have you been on the search for a gluten free pizza recipe that doesn't taste like sand or cauliflower? Then your in luck! This pizza recipe from Urban Slicer Pizza Worx using their gluten free pizza dough mix takes gluten free eating to the next level.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of Urban Slicer Gluten Free Pizza Dough (makes 2 pizzas)
  • 1 can of Urban Slicer Pizza sauce (enough for 2 pizzas)
  • 1 tbsp Urban Slicer White Pizza Mojo seasoning
  • Fresh mozzarella
  • ½ raw sausage link
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices
  • ½ yellow bell pepper
  • Basil leaves
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1¼ cups water

  • Ooni Karu 16 Pizza Oven or Conventional Oven
  • Ooni Pizza Peel
  • Ooni Pizza Cutter wheel
  • Cooking parchment paper
  • Spatula

Instructions

  1. Prepare Gluten-Free Dough: Using a mixer with the paddle attachment, add the dough, 1¼ cups of water, and 2 tbsp of olive oil. Then, mix for approximately 8 minutes until the dough looks frosting-like. After mixing, let the dough rest for 30 minutes. Split the dough into two halves, then take one half place it onto parchment paper, and stretch it to about a 14” circle. Oiling up your fingers will make this process easier to start stretching the dough. Then, let the dough rest for 1 hour.
  2. Heat the Oven or Pizza Oven to 500℉: If using an Ooni pizza oven, burn Jealous Devil charcoal extremely hot then cook with the remaining embers to hold a consistent temperature. After the charcoal is embers and the dough has been stretched and rested, par-bake (partially bake) the crust for 5-6 minutes until it rises, starts to lightly brown, and firms up.
  3. Top the Crust: Use half a can of Urban Slicer’s Pizza sauce, yellow bell pepper, pepperoni, sausage, and mozzarella cheese.
  4. Bake Until Done: Bake the pizza for another 8 minutes or until done. Then, top with basil leaves and Urban Slicer’s White Mojo seasoning for added flavor.
