Learn to set the Duke Dog Proof Coon Trap.
To bait the Duke Dog Proof Raccoon Trap, place the bait below and behind the trigger mechanism, inside the tube of the trap. This ensures the raccoon reaches in and engages the trigger when attempting to retrieve the bait.
To set the Duke Dog Proof Racoon Trap in rocky conditions, anchor the trap securely by wrapping the chain around a nearby tree or large rock. Instead of driving a stabilizing stake into the rock, prop the trap upright between loose stones or pack it inside a small bucket of dirt.
