The bolt is as smooth as can be , the trigger is great, but the best thing is the accuracy. I have a 6.5 Creedmoor. The scope mounts are specific this rifle. I had a little frustration getting those. Called Weatherby and they were great. The rep. I spoke with knew the model I was talking about immediately and educated me on my options. I had a range trip coming up that week and was able to find the peak 44 mount on amazon and received it in time to make the range day. Gun shot flawlessly.
