Didn’t catch it in the store and probably caused by shipping vibrations. Got it back (11 weeks) and all is good.\nBroke the action open several times to loosen the action up. Shot it for the first time last week and put 150 rounds through it on a clays course and it is a very sweet handling 20 gauge and shot very well with it.\nLove the looks and the case hardened receiver looks fantastic. The wood to metal fit is very good and the dark walnut looks good. The checkering is done well and not too aggressive. Overall, I love this shotgun. No failures to fire or eject and the trigger pull is just about right for a field gun (around 5 lbs.)\nI gave it 4 stars because the automatic safety is very stiff to move to the fire position and I feel like I have carpal tunnel after trying to break it in. Will be taking to a gunsmith to disconnect the automatic safety and hoping that will solve the issue. Health forces me to be pretty much a clays shooter and the safety is a PITA. I do recommend this shotgun and will update my review after 500 rounds.
