I have a 13 yr old and her cousins(8 & 10) had a great time assembling this set. It had a variety of colors and came with extra pieces. It was exactly as pictured! It was bigger than I had originally expected which is a plus plus🤗. They didn’t have any trouble following the directions which came in 2 separate books which made it easier for them to share and create together. The size of the building and design inside of the buildings was soo cute! And since we have many other characters it’s great they can combine and enjoy an even bigger area. Loved it. The ice cream parlour is adorable and opens up so he can actually play inside it, which he thought was really cool. He’s been setting up scenes with the minifigures and connecting it to his other Diagon Alley sets. It’s sturdy, well made, and just a joy to look at once it’s done. I love how it keeps him off screens and totally focused. The instructions were super clear and the build was challenging enough to keep him engaged but not so hard that he got frustrated. It’s one of those sets he keeps going back to, rearranging things and adding more to the story.
