The Halo 5 Dog Fence and GPS Dog Collar's GPS positioning functions independently of cellular or Wi-Fi connectivity, calculating your dog's position using satellite signals. Fence boundaries are also enforced without connectivity, as the fence coordinates are stored directly on the collar. However, to view your dog's location in the Halo app, the collar requires a cellular or Wi-Fi connection to transmit data to your phone.
The Halo 5 Dog Fence and GPS Dog Collar is designed for dogs over 10 lbs, with a neck size ranging from 8 to 30.5 inches.
