Maybe the Korkers Krushers because they help you crush kms in the winter. Or because you can hear the snow and ice crushing under foot with every step. Whatever the name they are very good winter cleats for running and walking. \n\nI have put about 80 kms on mine so far both running and walking. I have had zero issues with wearing or breaking the cleats at the bottom. They look like new.\n\nTraction is very good to great on all the surfaces that I have used them on. I have run on hard pack snow and ice on both gravel roads and asphalt trails with temperatures ranging from 0C to -30C. I've only experienced minor slippage in certain conditions. Most of the slippage occurred either because I went too forward onto my toes or the conditions were just absolutely terrible and I had no place being out there. \n\nI do like how the cleats are spaced out so that you have an even plane to step down on. There is no rocking or foot wobble because of a cross checkered pattern under foot. It’s a very even and stable step on most surfaces in most conditions.\n\nI love the way they secure on the feet and found that once on they do not move at all. I found that they were a bit tough to put on and take off at times. They also don’t fit on some of my winter boots that well but I did purchase them for running in running shoes and not heavy winter boots. \n\nI did find that they do have a pressure spot on the top centre of the foot pretty much mid toe. This could be caused by how they fit on me or how much I tighten them down. I think a possible solution the manufacture could take to address this issue and the loss of traction issue at the toe is to add an adjustable/removable toe strap that is secured with a cleat. \n\nI believe that they are heavier than some of the other products and there. I can feel the weight of them while running but it is not unbearable. This system has an awesome ratcheting system to literally dial in the fit you want. This had great traction from low snow to snowplow slush to 4\" of snow. I'd rather do an outdoor workout any day of the week, and with Korkers, I'm not going to have to periodically stop to stretch my SnowTrax back onto my toes or heel, whichever side I was running out of. They work. Easy on and off. Comfortable. Made Solid. \nBad - Original Studs are garbage. Lost 4 of the 11 studs on the left shoe and 6 of the 11 on the right shoe on first day. But I read the reviews and i like to be prepared. So I ordered replacements on same day of original order. Never thought I would need so many. But replacement studs are better made and have lost no studs with 2 additional weeks use. The tool to install does not come with studs. Regular multi-tool does a better job anyways.\n\nMy review is scrap the cheap studs and go with what works.
