I was at Meijer in Michigan and they happen to have an extra large that fit me perfectly brand new with battery that was special ordered and returned in store and clearanced on the store floor original price was $150 and literally the next day it was $75 I was there two days excellent by I've had it on since other than the obvious I wear a light jacket over it or a hoodie and it has been extremely cold currently between 0 and 25 ° Fahrenheit. Downside is charge time and the proprietary charging port I was hoping it was similar to one of my friend had last year that was introduced to me that used Accord inside the jacket that just plugged into the battery through a usba port and I didn't know that before I purchased the item because I have two 10,000 milliamp hour batteries then have USBC usba ports on them and I was planning on using them but I can and the batteries are kind of expensive and take their time to charge and they do not fast charge and they don't work on Fast Chargers like Samsung 25 watt superchargers I have Samsung Galaxy S21 fe5g and s23 fe5g. I'm currently wearing it now and 15° weather with just a hoodie and a thermal underneath and I am overly warm on 75%. Needs to last longer I'm glad I came with a battery I just wish I had a larger battery cuz it is very costly to buy this if it was full price and have to buy a larger battery because it's only 2250 mAh. That takes 3 to 4 hours to charge instead of 45 minutes my phone is 45 mAh and takes less than 45 minutes to charge on my super fast charger. The battery lasts about half as long as claimed and I spend more time trying to keep it at the heat level I want than I should. The button is in the absolute worst place they could’ve put it. It cycles to the next setting with every step. If you’re buying this for anything more than sitting in a cool room, save your sanity and buy the Milwaukee product. I use it for both work and play. The heating is great. It holds the heat much better if you wear a layer over it. The low setting is plenty warm if I wear a good insulated layer over it even when the temperature is well below freezing. \r\n\r\nMy only issue is the location of the power button. I work as a ski instructor often teaching kids. This means I am constantly bending over a helping little kids. With the power button located at the waist it is constantly getting pushed. Extremely frustrating. Last time I wore the vest when teaching kids I ended up unplugging the battery. I am curious why the power button was put in a location where it can frequently be unintentionally pressed. This is an very poor design. I have thought about purchasing a base layer top, but the power button location has stopped me from doing so. How do you tuck in a base layer top when the power button will be located directly under your belt?\r\n\r\nI did not receive an incentive for the review. I seem to always be bumping the button and changing the heat setting. The location of the power button near the waist line is a poor design. I have the older Fieldsheer Alpine jacket with the power button located on the upper chest area which is a much better design/location. I have never accidentally bumped that button and changed heat settings and it is much easier to access when I do want to change heat settings. I find it much easier to push the power button up on my chest than having to dig out my phone to change it with Bluetooth or having to move around clothes to try to get to the button by my waist line. It would be a 5* + if the power button was located in the upper chest area.\r\nOne other issue is having to dig out the battery to turn on the battery when I want to turn the heat on. If you turn the heat off the battery turns off and you have to dig out the battery and turn it back on before you can turn on the vest's heating function. I have an older Fieldsheer battery were you just plug the battery in and it is ready to go whenever you want to turn on the heating function. You don't have to dig out the battery and turn it on before you can turn the heating function on.\r\n\r\nI did NOT receive an incentive for this review. The 7.4-volt system has 3 heating elements, one on the back and 2 on the chest, that add heat to critical areas that keep your core warm. The Peak BT 7.4-volt heating system can provide temperatures ranging from 135°F on high to 90°F on low. On high, expect up to 2 hours of heat on high, and on low, the Peak BT can provide heat for up to 10 hours! The Peak BT has 2 ways to adjust the temperature. First, the built-in touch control button. With a simple button push, you can select from 4 heat settings. Second, we've incorporated Bluetooth control with our MW Connect app. Through the MW Connect app, you can quickly toggle through all connected Mobile Warming devices and adjust individual heat levels to your liking.
