I love all of my Bench made knifes. I was looking for a high-quality filet and went to Benchmade as my go to knife store. \nThe fishcrafter has a small challenge wich makes me reluctant to use without extreme caution. The blade is incredible as expected. The handle on the other hand could beef up a bit. . . to slim/skinny and should have a bit more safety on the bolster to keep from slippage and finger protection working with slippery fish or other meats. Walked out empty-handed. I will have to start my search over for a fillet knife for larger fish. As soon as I handled it, I knew it was not for me. The handle is very thin and disproportionately small for this large knife. It didn’t feel secure in my hand. I am a taller guy with slightly above average hand size. The dealer held it and said the exact same thing.
