Mainly because the top of the bed is plastic. Most Airbeds that I have purchased (and have been sleeping on Airbeds for quite sometime) the top of the bed were like a suede material. So every time you move on this bed it wrinkled as if you were sleeping on plastic bags. So I am not using it it is in a bag in the back of my closet, but again this is just my opinion.
