These RE723 climbing sticks are an improvement over my older ones. The slight angle in the steps & textured material on top the step is done quite well. The old style steps are flat with a piece of abrasive tape stuck on top of them (tape falls off over time). After I saw the latest improvements, I ordered 3 more of these climbing sticks. I have 4 now, and they are my favorite.
