My daughter has worn this model for several years playing volleyball. On last 2 pairs the tread pattern has separated from the sole. The first pair lasted a full club season. This latest pair didn’t even last a month. Luckily they are fairly cheap. The Giannis Immortality 4 black basketball shoe meets that criteria, he told me immediately, “five stars, this is awesome!” Not only is it comfortable, but as a parent I can feel the sturdy heel, a great amount of cushioning on the bottom and can tell this will be a durable shoe. I love the design on the top of shoe with a bonus of it being breathable which is another huge plus for an athletic kid. The sole and heel are sturdy and well made, giving me hope that this shoe will last. I love that the top is still made of washable material, perfect for being cleaned after some rigorous court play. My son wears a size five and has a wider foot and a 5Y fit him perfectly. The design is cool and sleek, winning the hearts of all elementary school kids who want to look grown up! The various fabric and the textures created a really cool look that is unique and attractive. It could honestly be the perfect all-around sports shoe. It is relatively light weight, and seems to take pressure off of bones and joints when running and jumping.\n\nI don’t think there’s anything I would change about this shoe, besides making certain that the fabric is breathable. They had good grip so they did not hinder his play on a slicker court. He has wider feet and he said they did not pinch his toes like some other shoes do. \n\nI think the shoes are good quality. The fabric is nice and breathable on his feet while he's wearing them and playing sports. They keep his feet cool and don't get smelly and sweaty. He really likes the padding and cushioning in these shoes when he's on the court running and jumping.
