They never taste like the nuts. I'm okay with amaretto which is a type of almond flavor, and this coffee has a similar taste. But like most nut flavorings, it's very forward, so to me at least, the toffee flavor is undetectable. \nWhen I eat toffee with almonds, the toffee is always the primary taste, so I was hoping this coffee would have the same kind of flavor balance. Unfortunately, it does not. Too bad the great tasting Toffee Treasure was a limited edition linked to a movie.
