Letters embroidered on and a strong metal clasp. So recently when we got our new dog, we were excited to purhcase her one again. Unfortunately, the quality control is no longer there. The clasp is now made with a cheap plastic that pinches and comes apart easily, all the vinyl letters have almost completely worn off after only a few weeks (without even washing it!).
