The backrest was very easy to put on, but the seat cushion was a project. I had to remove the seat from the sled, then slip the cushion over the seat, snip holes though the fabric for the seat mounting bolts to go though. Then mount the seat back on the sled. The backrest was just a matter of slipping it over the seat back and tightening the Velcro straps. Not what I expected,but I like
