Decoy had quality issues. It comes in sections and was poorly built and would not go together. That is a knock on DSD and their QC, not Scheels. I expect waaay more than what I received for $700. I fought through the crap build and miss aligned bolts and forced it to go together. Overall decoy looks good after I won the battle. Will start deploying him in a week or so and he can begin to earn his stripes. The decoy is heavy and not a typical hollow, flimsy plastic decoy like all the rest. I mean the materials they use are great! Just that who ever is putting those good materials together is questionable. In the end... Scheels 5 stars. DSD - 4, just because it looks so dang good now that it is put together... build quality was more like a 2.5 (want to give it a 5 after I got it together... buuut) - overall decoy was built nice... , sculpted design, materials used, base, paint etc. just that the bolts were not in the correct locations and/or formed in crooked. ears were a little questionable as well, but there is one sweet spot where they seem able to stay attached to head. A couple of the fender washers that came with the decoy are too big to be able to fit on studs inside the deer mold because of the angle they are at. Had to use my own washers on those two. Washed it down with unscented soap, sprayed it down with Scent Killer Gold, used the stand to set it out. Had a few bucks ignore it, a couple who were hesitant to come in on it and had a big doe side-eyeing it for about 15 minutes. This was my first time using a decoy, so I can't say that I ws doing everything correctly. Didn't have a chance to use as much as I would have liked to because I did not have favorable winds the entire time. It was probably my ignorance of using a decoy that was ineffective. Now that I have a little more knowledge about using one, I will use it next year, try to dial it in and hone my skills to help tag a buck. This is not a \"sure thing\" and takes a lot of know-how to use correctly. It's not some magic lure, but if done right, I can see where it will help bring the bucks in to get a good shot. \n\nAs for the realistic look, this is a ton better than other decoys I have seen i.e., Primo's Scarface.
