We bought the smaller version and found the parties dogs were able to snap them without being caught 9/10 times. These they are not able to do that so we are able to reduce the population. They do rust in the snow/rain so I check them daily just to ensure they don’t freeze open. Make sure you buy the tool to open them, they will hurt your hands when they are new and stiff.
