I’m a competitive shooter in various affiliations and shoot tens of thousands of rounds a year. There’s no telling how many casings my tumbler has cleaned in that time. The bowl on the tumbler developed a small crack in 2019 by the lockdown threads at the base of the bowl. I used quicksteel to repair the bowl and back to work it went. As a matter of fact, I’m cleaning another 600 9mm casings right now. I’m amazed at how strong the motor still runs and how well it still cleans my brass. I highly recommend Frankfort’s cleaning polish as well. In the first year alone I put over 1000 hours on it, sometimes running it for 8 hours at a time overnight. I only use corn cob media as I'm highly allergic to the walnut media and never add anything to it. During the first year, I had only used it for 223 and 308 based cartridges (7 Raptor, 338 Federal, 7mm-08, etc) because I hadn't started reloading pistol calibers yet. I wonder if maybe the other reviews of cracked bowls are related to overloading. Even though the stated capacity is 350 of 556/223, I never ran it with more than 200 cases of 556 and never had any issue. Calls to their customer service phone number get voicemail and an explanation that I called outside of business hours despite clearly calling during the business hours stated on both their website and their outgoing voicemail message. Frankford Arsenal is negligent at best when it comes to order handling, and their customer service DOES NOT EXIST. I am now struggling to get my order cancelled and refunded, but they still do not answer or respond to anything at all whatsoever.
