"Full Description:\nThe Guardian Cap is the leading soft-shell helmet cover engineered for impact reduction. It brings a padded, soft-shell layer to the outside of the decades old hard-shell helmet and reduces impact of daily hits. Worn by youth - Pro players. \n \n*Helmet and visor are not included. \n \nThe NFL has mandated Guardian Caps since the 2022 season with expanded use that includes all practices preseason, regular season, and post season that include contact. The list of positions mandated to wear Caps include: OL, DL, LB, DB, TE, RB, FB, WR. Additionally, all NFL players are now permitted to wear Guardian Caps during games if they so choose. \n \nAll Schutt and VICIS helmets worn in practice or games with a properly installed Guardian Cap remain fully certified and warrantied, provided they comply with applicable league regulations and are used at the discretion of players, parents, or coaches.
