My older kits would have stuff printed on the bricks -- computers, lights, etc. These new ones all rely on stickers, and that part of the build sucks. They're fiddly to work with, and in my case, I managed to through them all out when opeing the instructions envelope. Wasn’t sure how solid it would be due to all the various angles and arm/head movement, but it was a fun impressive build. The various greys and chrome helped sell C-3POs various repairs over time. I wish the gold was a little more shiny but not a big deal. Some printed parts but also some stickers. Not too bad. The inclusion of one silver lower leg was a nice tribute to the consistent mixed parts we see on 3PO in the movies. The technic pieces allow for some decent articulation. While he is not the burnished gold color as in real life, it is a pretty close match. He is quite large & fun to build, but not sturdy or stable when finished. Pieces of the base do not want to stay together. His head pops off quite easily, as well. All piece were individually packed to the part that you were building . \nThe Manual is perfect but I downloaded the Lego builder app . And I’ll say it’s pretty good in helping stage by stage .\nIt’s had been a minute since I’ve built a full Lego set but I was up for the task. It’s was a fun build, but it started off a bit slow , you have to aware because some of the smaller pieces do look like the ones you, thought you needed. But once you get all in order it’s a pretty dope build .\nI’m looking forward to making more from the Starwars collection. And I do have my eyes on the Pharrell’ Williams piece .
