My experience with this slicer was for slicing small (5-6 lb) eye of round roast pieces for making jerky.\n\nThis slicer only came with ONE serrated blade, not two blades. As of this writing, the specs section on website still states it includes two blades (serrated and straight).\n\nDon't expect the blade to spin at the speed you see at the deli counter. It spins significantly slower. The serrated blade is sharp-ish. It cuts meat mostly without tearing it, but it's not a perfectly clean cut. The \"food support\" backboard was slightly curved on the slicer that I received, which by itself will always make uneven cuts. This \"food support\" board is held in place with two machine screws so I could take it off to bend it flat. \n\nThe slicer's suction cup feet held well on my smooth stone countertop. If it were sitting on small tile or a surface that is porous or uneven, I imagine it will not stick well.\n\nThe blade and the sliding fee table are removable so you can wash them. Most of the rest of the surfaces on the slicer is coated metal, so you can easily wipe off food residue.\n\nThe thickness adjustment dial is ok. The graduation markings don't show thickness, they're just numbered 0-20. No detents on the dial, smooth dialing from 0 to 20.\n\nThe specs section on website states run time of 5 minutes. You should stick to that. It took me a few minutes slice a roast of about 5 lbs. The slicer motor was pretty warm to the touch at that point. I let it rest another 5 minutes or so while I prepped another roast of about 5 lbs. It handled the second roast fine.\n\nFit and finish is mediocre. The sliding feed table slides smoothly without sticking. But the food support is not solid. It slightly pivots/rotates even without dialing the thickness adjustment knob, which changes the thickness while slicing.\n\nThis is slicer is for SMALL jobs at home. After all this is the lowest cost slicer from LEM. I didn't push it by trying to slice 75 lbs of meat, or trying to slice a bunch of hard salami. I imagine the LEM slicers that cost hundreds more would perform notably better. Food items are sometimes stuck on the blade. The real negative is the “screw” which holds the blade. It’s almost impossible to get it off to clean the blade without braking it.
