Assembly wasn't bad.","text":"Took me 2.5 hrs to put together without help. Could probably do it again in 40 min. I laid the backboard face down on a bath towel on the the tailgate of my truck to assemble with the rim hanging downward over the edge. That worked out pretty good. Had to take the rim off and reassemble because I forgot a part. I also put the base on backwards and had to fix that. I'm a mechanic. Happens to the best of us. No big deal. Portable basketball hoops in general aren't as solid as in ground or wall mounted hoops. You're not going to shoot bank shots off the edge. That doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would. So far it's been fun. I'd rather my kids play basketball than xbox.
