The problem is that they only give you enough pole to bury it 18” in the ground which in Iowa or 70% of the U..S. Is not acceptable because of frost. So this is not a 7-10’ hoop. Posts in Iowa need to be about 4’ in the ground which makes this more like a 4 1/2’-7 1/2’ basket. Also the backboard is flimsy plastic that does not respond the same way a real basketball hoop does. Also because it is so flimsy, it is like a kite and gets destroyed by the wind everyday. All in all we really wasted our money.
